Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I have been using Miro for primarily for collaboration sessions and workshops. From brainstorming sessions, to process development, to task management, I find it's a quick and easy tool to use, and something that all staff can learn quickly (typically within the first 10 mins of meeting), even if they have had no prior experience. I also love the voting feature which simplifies and speeds up group decision making.
I have seen the tool used for presentations as well, which is a feature I would like to use more of in the future.

Pros

  • Collaboration
  • Visualization
  • Brainstorming

Cons

  • Board organization
  • Improved productivity
  • Quicker decision making/consensus
We work in a hybrid environment where the majority of our meetings are virtual. Miro allows us to easily share ideas and thoughts on the digital white board, no matter where staff are located. We use it in conjunction with a video conferencing tool, like MS Teams.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Love Miro as a collaboration tool where a team can work together at once or asynchronously. I've found it especially helpful for creating workflow diagrams, brainstorming and task management, and really appreciate the feature when there are no restrictions to size/space.
While it's a great working tool, have found that there is still a challenge using Miro to produce final deliverables in our organization - there is still a desire to convert diagrams from Miro to another format in order to maintain artifacts beyond the project lifecycle.
