Overall Satisfaction with Miro

we use it to design user flows, conduct experience audits, map out user test plans, brainstorm/workshop activities
  • user flow diagram template elements
  • flexibility in use for all purposes
  • customised sharing settings
  • templates embedded within Miro vs opening a separate board
  • more flexibility for templates such as calendar (eg customisation of rows/column colours for clarity of each week at a glance)
  • provide orientation of where we are on the infinite canvas
  • enabled remote working easily
  • saved time translating post its to a digital format
  • though most of the work is done on Miro, it still requires additional time to re-organise this into a presentable format (eg ppt) for clients
it has enabled flexible hybrid working as we combine and transition to working remote, in office and also across countries (when necessary). even within the office as we have less space and meeting rooms (office downsized over covid) it has allowed us to continue easy brainstorm sessions without the need for a meeting room or wall space to conduct workshops.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

wider company/global team is on Miro as well so this helps to streamline tools used across all teams.
it is more suited for instances where you need an endless canvas with no boundaries of image or text size but want to map, brainstorm or plan out things and have them consolidated in one place but it less suited as an alternative to a powerpoint presentation for a client.
