Miro - A wonderful place for creativity and design!
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to create research templates and presentations. I also use it to take notes during research sessions. I wish that Miro had the ability to see exactly how changes had been made. For example, if someone were to remove a section of text, it would be nice to see exactly how that text was written out. The use case would be specifically for presentations as we usually have 5-10 people on any given Miro board at one time.
Pros
- I really like the pre-set design templates. Really helps me get going with my data
- I like that when I first open Miro, I can see thumbnail images of all of the boards I am working on
- I really like the "sticky" function. If I have a large board, I use that to leave notes in and around the board for others to see
Cons
- I wish the sticky notes came in more color options
- Sometimes when I am using the "conection line function", it doesn't always go where I want it to. It doesn't move with my mouse very well
- I wish that Miro had more options for the drawing tool. For example, pre set icons (similar to the preset shapes)
- It has improved collaboration among team members. Everyone is present and contributing when a Miro board is sent out
- I find that my team mates love Miro because it makes the design process so much more fun with all of the options and tools available
- Since implementing Miro we have received positive feedback from our audience that the data is presented in a visually captivating manner
It has significantly improved the collaboration process, while also making the process of collaboration more fun and unique because everyone can use their creativity to design boards.
