Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Useful for workshops, creation of user journeys, personas, user flows, prioritisation.
  • Capturing ideas and concepts.
  • Workshop facilitation.
  • Collaboration and sharing of ideas.
  • Cross compatibility with other software (Figma).
  • Sketching within the tool is hard.
  • Post-its are hard to resize, and font sizes within them are based on the amount of text within them rather than being consistent.
  • Being able to group and layer groups can be hard, so trying to basic wireframe is difficult.
  • Being able to conduct workshops remotely helps with logistics and helps enable Hybrid working (with limitations, as previously mentioned).
  • Allows others to have collaborative sessions, not just UX.
I think I have covered this already. It definitely has helped to enable sessions to take part remotely but hasn't replaced in-person sketching and workshops, which are more productive.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I think FigJam is more stripped back and easier to use, as such, is less of a barrier to contributors actually contributing in sessions. Figma feels more fun to use with stickers, voting, etc Miro feels more utilitarian and more cluttered.
Workshops where capturing ideas through sticky notes is useful and generally works well. However, as Miro can be a bit more complex than, say, FigJam getting everyone to contribute can be difficult. Creating drawings or sketches, or low-fidelity wireframes is difficult.
