Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for a plethora of reasons: proposal writing, brainstorming, Agile events, SAFe events, training, Human Centered Design, strategy & planning, and so much more.
Business problems include performance, strategy, the delivery of value, accelerating change, and more.
For instance, we leveraged one client context to construct the Objectives and Key Results with Operational Objectives for a specific Directorate, leveraging templates in Miro.
The voting feature, timer, and recently the clustering of objects have been popular tools.
  • Voting
  • Clustering
  • timer with music
  • group editing
  • copy/paste of images
  • template library
  • navigation
  • delays, especially with many people on the same board
  • interrupted connection
  • presentation view (hard to beat powerpoint)
  • Completed work that wasn't happening outside of Miro
  • Had 100% team participation in retrospective when it used to only be
We have a distributed workforce where many of our activities would not be effective or even possible without Miro. Microsoft Whiteboard is supposed to be the substitute, but that product is clunky and limited in use.

We do seriously need Miro to be FedRAMPed so our government clients can use it too!

I'll repeat that since I work in the US Government, getting FedRAMP will bring a slew of new business! Only Bluescape has gotten FedRAMPed.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

MURAL - comparable, cheaper than Miro, but not as intuitive, user-friendly, and feature-rich. I would use MURAL as needed and really your top competitor. It is missing the fluid of selection.
Bluescape - is inferior in most parts but FedRAMPed
MS Whiteboard - flawed in every way but comes bundled with MS Teams.
Scenarios include but are not limited to SAFe events (PI Planning , I&A, others), Agile events, in particular, Retrospectives, Strategic planning, Problem-solving, Liberating Structures, Training, Ideation (for instance, captured many of my book ideas visually on Miro), Workshops, team building activities, research and design, Mapping and diagramming, and far more.
Use the double diamond technique to solve tough problems.
