Overall Satisfaction with Miro

My previous team used Miro for pretty much everything related to the product and sprint planning and it was an important tool used in every meeting. My current team uses it in tandem with Jira for Sprint retrospective and story planning and to the developer's opinions and reviews.
  • Miro is great at visualization, as it's basically a digital board with stickies and notes
  • It's a great use for teams who have limited use of Jira but require a tool for scrum implementation and team planning
  • The sheer size and probabilities of a Miro board is excellent for team planning meetings and to keep a track on the status of a story and tasks assigned to a developer
  • Text editing would be a good feature to use format text
  • A Table of contents with hyperlink would be a good tool for a big Miro board
  • Cross functioning with MS tools like Excel for plotting graphs and including text from a word on drive so it updates automatically
  • It has improved productivity
  • Ease of access has saved time
  • Improved team work and collaboration
It has impacted in a positive manner, improving communication and enhancing collaboration between all the workers, remote and on-site alike. This is a big advantage of Miro in that it has enabled all its users to edit and share ideas simultaneously as if all of them are next to each other and sharing.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited as a collaborative board but not great at keeping track of dynamic items. It is a good replacement for a traditional white board and keeping an archive of boards as it is limitless. But action items and tasks which keep changing and close at for example every sprint is not easy to keep track on the board. Jira is better suited for that for most of the teams.
