Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Platform used for cross-functional collaboration

Pros

  • Allows for the team to work on the same page simultaneously
  • Digital space is modular
  • Time function helps

Cons

  • Not all functionality is intuitive to adopt
  • Navigation mode changed about a year ago. Made it difficult to move around.
  • Occasionally it freezes when multiple people are trying to collaborate
  • It is definitely a better platform for collaboration than an Excel sheet online.
  • It's become the standardized platform as the digital space for workshops.
Originally it took a bit of time to adapt. The training sessions were brief and moved through some key features too quickly. I familiarized myself by playing with the platform to get better acquainted with the features, but I recognize that I'm not fully familiar with all the features. Unless someone uses it on a daily basis, it's a bit difficult to move around fast.
It has allowed associates to remotely join in-person meetings (i.e. if someone is sick or has limitations for traveling). It also allows a digital space for recurring team to collaborations when the entire team is working remotely.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I wasn't involved in selecting Miro. Miro boards offer a more versatile digital workspace than Smartsheet. Smartsheet is better suited for creating Gantt charts and following task charts or workflows. Miro board allows a blank slate for associates to simultaneously record thoughts.
Platform for internal collaboration where results of work can be saved for future reference.
