Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro within the Design department and beyond. I use it individually and collaborate heavily on miro with colleagues within my department and cross department. For example, I use it to organize my thoughts, to capture stakeholder maps, and to map customer journeys.

In online/remote settings, we use Miro in strategic sessions, in mapping exercises, to capture notes during interviews, for brain storm exercises and more.
Also in face-to-face setting, we often opt for miro instead of physical white boards, as Miro removes the step of digitization and saves lots of time.

I use Miro to keep track of tasks, stakeholders, thoughts, ideas, we use it to organize links and other interesting resources.

I could not work without Miro and if I ever change jobs, I would not want to work anywhere where Miro is not being used.

Pros

  • customer journey mapping
  • stakeholder mapping
  • brainstorm
  • remote workshop
  • note-taking during interviews
  • synthesis of design research

Cons

  • more colors for stickie notes
  • more colors for tags
  • easier sharing of board links (single click)
  • improved collaboration
  • improved productivity
  • faster digital results
I sometimes work with the combination of Teams and Miro and it could be more stable. Also logging into Miro within Teams is sometimes a bit tedious, but that would probably be better if I used it more often.
Yes, for sure! I have lots of colleagues that I haven't seen face to face and that I have collaborated with on Miro.
I would say, Miro has had a positive impact on our carbon footprint, as we have been able to reduce travel for internal workshops and collaboration.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I only used Mural very briefly and my company chose Miro shortly after. I found Miro more intuitive in use and I preferred the endless canvas of Miro .
If you like to organize your thoughts quickly and easily collaborate with others in sync or asynchronous , if you want to use images, text and quick notes, Miro works well. Miro works perfectly to visualize complexity, to sketch out things and try ideas. It is easy to use and stimulates creativity.

Miro is less suited for pixel-perfect design, it is not your tool for UX design. While you can export to pdf and print in high-resolution, it has limitations in how exact you design your print in terms of stroke-size, dimension, etc.
