Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I rely on Miro for collaboration with clients, as well as collaboration with fellow ERMers. The collaboration has been on multiple topics such as data process mapping, data model design, scope development, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement. The biggest probelm area that Miro has addressed with these activities is allowing for all participants to participate in the work. We all know that there are introverts and extroverts, however I like to make sure that people I call processers versus verbalizers also have a voice. Miro allows for the introverts that may not be comfortable competing with extroverts for air time to contribute to discussions. Miro also allows for processers, individuals that need time to think through their responses, to participate in discussions as the Miro board is available long after the immediate meeting is over.
  • Collaboration through comments
  • Collaboration through access for multiple individuals at the same time
  • Meeting pre-work such as setting pre-reads, presentations and organization
  • Making it easier to see edits in boards by others
  • Increasing the functionality and ease of use for tables on Miro boards
  • Providing the ability to hide the gutter on the left side of the screen (with team identifiers)
  • Allowed for full development of winning scopes with major clients
  • Provided for efficiency in extensive data process mapping for enterprise level metrics
I cannot speak for my organization, only for myself. As I mentioned earlier, Miro has been instrumental in documenting full scope development for multiple new projects.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I used Microsoft Whiteboard as part of Microsoft 365, and found it did not have the necessary features I was used to using in Miro. I would not go back to using it.
I have found Miro to be extremely strong in supporting any collaborative effort. However, if it is only being used for presentation, it is weaker than other platforms as it does not have the graphics available for visualization that PowerPoint has.
