Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it to run workshops, specially in the Continuous Improvement area. Miro helps to create a digital collaboration space for people attending from different locations and sometimes even asynchronous . It is an infinite board that allows you to consolidate all workshop data in one single place, including excel, ppt, pdf, images and others.

Pros

  • Collaboration
  • Clock
  • Integration

Cons

  • Not able to export as PPT
  • Export as PDF is limited
  • Takes some time to load
  • Productivity
  • Collaboration
  • User friendly
It was a bit hard to integrate Miro and Azure DevOps at the beginning. But once it was integrated, we never needed to configure it again and all the communication was flawless! I believe the barriers were mainly due to our internal security controls, but also it was hard to find where to click inside Azure DevOps to create the connectino.
Miro makes it much easier to collaborate on new projects with remote workers and multiple locations. We use it now for several different types of trainings and workshops and the feedback is usually great. It may require some onboarding to the tool though as it may not be intuitive enough for all types of stakeholders.
Miro offers much more functionalities compared to whiteboard, like the clock to track the workshop timing and the option to go incognito while writing your ideas in the board. Besides that, it allows you to paste different types of files in one single board, being a great way to centralize all information needed in the project.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is suitable when you need to generate collaboration among different stakeholders digitally, combining different information sources in one single infinite board. Maybe Miro is not the best tool if you just need to present an idea but doesn’t aim to gather deeper inputs, specially with the stakeholders involved are not used to the environment.
