Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is my tool of choice for all things ideation and brainstorming. Miro is easy to use and provides a great deal of flexibility in how we use the canvas for brainstorming. As a product person, I've find Miro to be better than some of the competing UX centric tools. I've found Miro to be very helpful in defining the customer journeys, overlaying solution architecture, and in general whiteboard/ideate in a remote work setting. I've also used Miro to present information that is more text centric and it has been equally helpful. It becomes even easier to use via the desktop app. Highly recommend it for product folks who wish to whiteboard and ideate with team members who are remote.
  • Whiteboarding
  • Customer Journey Mapping
  • Presentation
  • Better control over frames/content in a collab setting
  • Faster load time for the app
  • Ability to add tables without having to import from templates
  • Improved productivity
  • Enhanced collaboration
  • Cost savings on communication
SSO Integration is really good and gives a good degree of control in an organization setting.
Miro has had a very positive impact on the ability to collaborate in a remote setting to move initiatives forward at a good speed. Miro allows us to bring together a variety of stakeholders in different roles and effectively collaborate. Miro gives team members a flexibility to contribute at time that works for them. It keeps the conversation going before and after the actual meeting, and that is a very powerful tool to have.
As compared to other tools Miro is easier to use, has an easy learning curve, can be used by folks in a variety of roles from engineering to designers, has an intuitive UI, easy single sign-on integration, has an easy to use desktop app version that helps to speed up the work.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited for ideation & brainstorming, reviewing the user/customer journey, wireframing the customer experience, high level solution architecture, dependency mapping, Program Increment planning - SAFe, and collaboration in a remote setting. It is easy to see what other active users are doing.

Miro may not be the best tool for doing high fidelity designs or areas where there is a need of tight version control.
