Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We started an agile transformation last year and used Miro for helping communicate and collaborate on the 4 agile product teams we were standing up. We used it for org charts, product charters, ways of working and architecture designing. We also used it for documenting current process flows within the organization and helped inspire ways we could improve those processes.

Pros

  • Ease of use
  • Collaboration
  • Onboarding resource

Cons

  • Easier ways to export and share with non-Miro users
  • Improved connection to Jira
  • Connection with Microsoft Teams
  • Quicker speed to market
  • Faster onboarding
  • Faster decision making
This function would have been used a lot if Miro was integrated into Microsoft Teams. We spend a lot of time in virtual meetings and this whiteboard feature would help a lot when we are discussing processes and better ways of working. Even without the integration it was useful to share screens and show a Miro board to visually show what you are speaking about.
We are switching to Figma at our organization. I don’t know the reasons why.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It’s well suited for UX wire-framing, process flow designs and architecture's designs. It also worked well to document org structures, product charters and agile best practices. It was difficult to demo and show the work in meetings especially if it was large and required scrolling. It was also difficult sharing with in Microsoft Teams or with non-Miro users, especially those we work with at agencies and other third parties.
