Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to help facilitate many Agile ceremonies, including Daily Scrum meetings, Planning, Idea Days, and Retros. I also use it to release plans with more considerable project efforts, utilizing many existing templates. Brainstorming ideas and quickly turning them into a process flow or timeline is beneficial.

Pros

  • Integrate with other tools like Jira.
  • Provides excellent training and support.
  • Constant upgrades.

Cons

  • Moving around a board smoothly is challenging sometimes if you don't spend the time to lock specific frames.
  • Increased meeting efficiencies and follow-up time.
  • Reduced time spent on post-Idea Day tasks for the Scrum Master.
  • It increased planning accuracy.
The integration with Jira is fantastic! This has made my job so much easier.
I love this tool for online collaboration meetings. The teams are very engaged, with everyone having access to the board and being able to actively participate in the activities rather than watching one person make updates on a screen for several hours. We incorporate games and work to keep the engagement high.

Miro is well suited for planning with a single team or when you need to coordinate with multiple teams. Linking dependent stories and being able to visualize those dependencies is great. I haven't run across any scenarios that Miro wasn't well suited for yet, so I don't have any examples to give for that.
