Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it for alignments with teams, meeting standups, retros, roadmaps, presentations, and brainstorming to communicate and gather the right insights for the right colleagues. It's a great collaboration tool, especially when you can merge it with Google Hangout.

Pros

  • Brainstorming
  • Collaboration
  • Clear Visualization.

Cons

  • Structure in files and projects.
  • It's hard to find things on the board.
  • An easier way to organize presentation slides (drag and drop?).
  • AI icon generation/illustrations.
  • Potential layout logic, setting specific pixel size boxes, or layout behavior.
  • Align where we are as a team (roadmap on a sprint level).
  • I am gathering ideas and structuring a lot faster.
  • Creating visuals that give clarity to concepts and ideas.
  • Creating a place where all people know where to go to find specific things.
Overall, it's good. You do need to have a clear idea of what you want to build and iterate over it while trying to maintain a clean board, which can be difficult when many other users have access.
It's quite nice. One thing I'm missing is being able to create an "image" that is linked to a frame so I can share it in Confluence, for example. I don't want to link a whole Miro board but just a frame so people see it in the documentation. It should just be a link to a PNG that is linked to a frame of Miro.
Greatly, we use it every day to ideate, share current states, do retros, etc.
Miro seems to have more relevant features as of now, and we've started with Miro, so it's hard to switch at the moment, even if we want to.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Showing abstract concepts, brainstorming with lots of people, grouping ideas, concept building, and workspace for teams.
