Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro from everything from drafting future products to team setups and workshops of all kind. Our teams use the tool for internal coordination and cooperation on chunks of their workload while we also have a lot of "globally" accessible boards that store relevant information which should be transparent for all employees.
Pros
- Quick drafting of ideas and concepts
- Cooperation with a multitude of colleagues on one topic
- Making information accessible while keeping it flexible to change
Cons
- More fine granular options for specific board rights, especially within bigger cooperations
- Centralization of a lot of our concepts
- Ease of access, reducing time loss when having to dig up information
- Increased engagement in workshops because it's very intuitive to use
It has greatly proven its use during COVID times and beyond, even though we started working with Miro well before that. As we collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across multiple locations and also brands, Miro serves as our central hub where we can come together easily, without resorting to fragmented tech stacks with different Confluences, Jiras, etc.
Google Jamboard really is a mediocre joke for collaboration on things. While it offers the same kind of "sticky note" logic, its capbilitites are so limited almost nobody uses it even though it comes with our company Google Workspace suite. Miro is like a swiss army knife compared to it.
