Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are sharing project problem statements and facilitating virtual discussions over project findings. We use Miro internally and externally with clients and teams. We use Miro boards extensively when we communicate during meetings or when we run asynchronous work access in different time zones. This is a great tool to share findings, discuss outcomes and communicate thought process.

Pros

  • use it for async work
  • use it for virtual workshops with large number of practicipants
  • use it for working sessions 2~3 people together

Cons

  • the music used during the timer.
  • consider integration with spotify
  • consider better ways to capture history and use the UNDO function
  • Miro reduced the need to travel
  • Miro helps visualise thoughts and findings otherwise difficult to communicate verbally
There is always room for improvement. I think finding a good way to capture real-world to digital representation has space for improvement.
Integrating AI capabilities into the Miro board will help automate some processes and shorten many development timelines. When I search for templates I usually do not find what I need.
I did not use much of Miro integration so I have no special comments about it. If any, I will recommend looking into better integration with Google Meetings and screen sharing. Also possibly integrating with music providers such as Spotify will be useful during time-boxed activities where the team works in silence.
Online work will never be the same as face-to-face interactions. However, many activities leading to face-to-face meetings can take place in a virtual environment and Miro can support facilitating such activities. It saves time on travel and saves costs for associates. It fastens my team's deliverables and allows collaboration across different regions.
I have not used Mural for several years so I cannot comment.

Miro is very well suited for large groups where multiple people are working together to solve a problem or ideate towards a solution.
Miro is also very well suited for pair working session
Miro is good for facilitating workshops virtually and in some cases, we use Miro in a physical meeting room as everything is eventually documented digitally.
