If you want to connect hybrid or virtual audiences this tool is a must
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I am a public speaking and presentation skills trainer. I need to train groups of people that can be in one room, all virtual or a hybrid set up. I place a lot of emphasis on group work and exercises. Miro gives me the platform that I can host all my training content inside, use timers, breakout rooms, capture ideas and work and then have it as a one stop place for people to refer to after the training has finished.
Pros
- Visually exciting ways to present and create and share information
- Bridges the gap between in-person and virtual audiences
- Aids collaboration between people in fun ways.
Cons
- I love using a background image (e.g. building) that all the content sits in. Frames are tough to use with this because frames always sit as the bottom layer.
- Better curated info in the academy. Miro can now do a huge amount of things for a huge amount of use cases. It's hard to find what I need sometimes
- Improve the presentation capabilities. Don't force people into frames for this. There are much more elegant ways to do this when you have a zoomable canvas.
- Made virtual and hybrid training much easier
- Allows me to standout with my training materials
- Helps me to increase word of mouth business
I use it all the time to collaborate with clients.
