Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to share designs, give each other feedback, and collaborate seamlessly. Since all of our design work is digital and some work remotely, Miro helps us see what everyone is working on in real time. In my previous organization, we used Miro to facilitate online meetings through visual note-taking. We also had our clients participate in Miro activities like dot voting and writing sticky notes.

Pros

  • Provides a solution to collaboration in remote teams
  • Real-time updates to changes
  • Built-in tools facilitation tools

Cons

  • Drawing tool could be better, it would be amazing to have pen pressure sensitivity.
  • Sometimes the boards can be buggy and won't be able to zoom in or load.
  • More built-in tutorials on how to use certain functions like in Adobe apps.
  • Improved efficiency in delivering design products and gathering feedback
  • Increased productivity during meetings, better alignment through visual notes.
We are able to share ideas and designs without sending a separate message or email, and easily organize them by different projects. It has really helped collaboration between team members who live in different locations.
Miro has the most functions out of products I have used.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is great for virtual meetings or for teams where members are in different locations. It's a great tool for sharing ideas and designs seamlessly and getting real-time feedback. However, meetings can sometimes get out of hand when all the participants are in Miro and some can mess up the content on the boards. If collaboration is not necessary, it'd be better to just screen-share a presentation.
