Overall Satisfaction with Miro
My team uses Miro as multiple stakeholders collaboration tool in a project. They are good to share the team's idea, to leave written communication such as feedback or questions, providing each others work progress over time and using them by sharing the screen for a quick presentation during remote meetings. They provide a great visual aid which helps a better understanding for everyone.
Pros
- Presentation aid during remote meetings
- Team collaboration for brainstorming
- Task progress visibility to stakeholders
Cons
- Audit tool - to prevent possible sabotage of the Miro space
- Hard to track which person made which update at specific timeline
- Faster jira card app speed
- Having a risk of outdated document. It is hard to maintain upto date info requiring proactive maintenance reminder system like Confluence
- Easy to learn so taking less time onboarding for new hire
- Good for team activity such as working on a virtual scrapbook
During the remote, it helped to gather ideas for everyone by giving freedom to use various data format: jira, link, screenshot, gif, and text etc. It also gave less stress or pressure to people for bringing clean or organized format of data because it worked like a sandbox. Emojis also provided some fun during the team activity.
