The power of visualizing information
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
My primary use of Miro is a visual project management dashboard. We have robust project management software but it lacks the quick reference and visual power that we were able to achieve in Miro. Because it is web-based we are able to digitally access it from anywhere and have it live streams on a large display for the team to review.
We also use it occasionally with clients to share mood boards and progressive project evolution.

Pros
- organization of ideas
- visual clarity
- access from anywhere
- collaboration
Cons
- panning/navigating on a laptop without a mouse and a separate keyboard
- would like sticky notes to have infinite color options like the shapes
- a way to confine others to certain parts of the board
- increased collaboration and productivity
- provide the team with project clarity through visual information
- inclusivity of ideas, a way for everyone to add their perspective
It has allowed us a central place to go and see how other members of a project are progressing on their tasks and see how the work is unfolding without requiring a meeting or call. It also has become a central hub for information that is being gathered for a project.
I find many aspects of the products to be similar and fill the same needs. I initially chose Miro because an account had already been set up and was familiar to several members of our team, lowering any barriers to entry.
