Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro regularly for workshops, retros, and brainstorming. It is an especially helpful tool for collaboration on a whiteboard when we are a distributed team that is spread across three different continents. I can't imagine a better tool for facilitating workshops that allows everyone to contribute and share ideas in a simple, easy-to-use way.
Pros
- Multiple users typing simultaneously.
- voting on different topics by participants.
- Jira integration to represent stories that have been created.
Cons
- I wish the AI features were more developed to do more like read through various notes and group and summarize.
- Jira integration can be clunky; I wish clicking on a ticket would take me to that story in Jira.
- As a moderator, sometimes I wish I could deselect things for people who have perhaps selected a background shape that has "greyed" out the text of what I'm trying to read.
- Shortens times to share multiple ideas.
- Shortens time to narrow down on ideas.
- Increases engagement of participants during workshops.
Yes, this is the main use case for which we use it. We are a team that is spread across three continents and working hybrid between office and remote. Miro is an especially useful tool for collaboration. It really speeds up the time and lowers the bar for everyone in a meeting to share ideas and build on them.
