Miro is my absolute favorite tool!
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro for everything... I am an experience director and I use it to facilitate workshops, collaborate with colleagues for sales pursuits, ideate for new work, inspiration station, retros and team building to name a few. I have run several design sprints using Miro as well and we use it to manage our teams project staffing across our entire market.
Pros
- Timed sessions to allow for collaborators to time box exercises
- The new dot voting feature is pretty awesome
- the KanBan board is fantastic for task tracking in one place
- Obviously, the sticky notes is what started it all
Cons
- Sharing links with people outside the organization can be painful at times
- Quick Miro 101 onboarding for non-users would be great to spin up quickly instead of making it myself
- Improved our productivity in staffing meetings
- Leveraging it as a sales enablement tool has helped us sell better projects with a more human centered perspective
- The new AI features help me synthesize and cluster in a fraction of the time to convert to a readout
We are a global company and we collaborate across markets all the time so it has been so helpful to get great outcomes without having to force travel for in person sessions
