Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for everything... I am an experience director and I use it to facilitate workshops, collaborate with colleagues for sales pursuits, ideate for new work, inspiration station, retros and team building to name a few. I have run several design sprints using Miro as well and we use it to manage our teams project staffing across our entire market.

Pros

  • Timed sessions to allow for collaborators to time box exercises
  • The new dot voting feature is pretty awesome
  • the KanBan board is fantastic for task tracking in one place
  • Obviously, the sticky notes is what started it all

Cons

  • Sharing links with people outside the organization can be painful at times
  • Quick Miro 101 onboarding for non-users would be great to spin up quickly instead of making it myself
  • Improved our productivity in staffing meetings
  • Leveraging it as a sales enablement tool has helped us sell better projects with a more human centered perspective
  • The new AI features help me synthesize and cluster in a fraction of the time to convert to a readout
I have only tried the Teams integration and it works great while allowing us to have everything we need in a single space
We are a global company and we collaborate across markets all the time so it has been so helpful to get great outcomes without having to force travel for in person sessions
Honestly I use Miro because we have an enterprise license for it but I am very happy with the product. I would not switch to another platform even if we lose our enterprise license for some reason

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited for remote or hybrid teams to collaborate on a problem together and hold some ideation sessions in one space. I do all my prototyping in Figma but the new prototyping feature may be something I use in the future.
