Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Product design, service design, process mapping, stakeholder presentations, roadmap presentations, flow diagrams, architecture diagrams, story mapping, user persona mapping, delivery plan presentation, discovery or other workshops.

Anything where a combination of visuals and text, in a flexible and easily manipulatable format, on an infinitely expanding canvas, particularly where some form of presentation or collaboration is required.

Pros

  • Workshop facilitation
  • Retro facilitation
  • Process mapping
  • Story mapping

Cons

  • Glitches such as boards not loading
  • Glitches such as inability to drag and drop frames for presentation order
  • Complications when duplicating boards or copying frames from oe board to another
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved collaboration
  • More effective communication
Miro (combined with the right video conferencing tech) has massively impacted this ability in a positive way. I have participated in and even run workshops with participants based in dozens of locations, often in different countries, with as much effectiveness as though we were all together in one physical room.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited: discovery workshops, retros, story maps, as-is and to-be process mapping, stakeholder presentations (would be good to have the capability for animations).

Less appropriate: not scenarios as such, it's more a case of the glitchiness of some of the functionality as mentioned above. Also the lack of certain functionality such as the ability to copy and paste formatting.
