Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for brainstorming sessions and project planning with a distributed team. The scope is functional and international. I use it in brainstorming the roadmap of products. So, I can initiate the map and then the team can add components and validité the change in Real Time. Additionally, I utilize Miro in conjunction with Jira. It enables the management of the project life cycle according to the designed roadmap. It is very useful for remote teams and when the project is international.

Pros

  • Agile project planning.
  • Brainstorming with a work team.
  • Remote collaboration.
  • Designing diagrams.

Cons

  • Integration of AI.
  • Some bugs to fix.
  • Ease of use with all project management tools (it is good with Jira, but not easy to use with Asana).
  • Sharing and collaboration work.
  • Productivity
  • Remote sites.
  • Delivery
  • Modelize a strategic vision.
It is easy to use (especially with Jira), and new members can learn to use it rapidly. There are no prerequisites to have to using it. Real-time visual collaboration for remote teams. So ideas can be moved, shared, and coworked on. The wide Variety of templates is a real advantage.
Templates, Canvas Diagramming tools (especially for road maps), and Asynchronous mode Integration tools. The main features that impact my work the most are: - The sticky notes and real-time editing. It is fast and permits an intuitive collaboration. - Farming and présentation that permits sharing of progress, comments, and mentions for asynchronous communication.
Yes. The integration with Slack and Jira is very important. Really, we gain a previous time with it. Also, it offers of global strategic view of the project and a useful supervision of the progress. But the integration with Asana is less intuitive and easier. In the next versions of the product, this fact must be reviewed.
It comes with a rich library of templates and facilitation features like timers and voting. But Miro is better in asynchronous mode. Also, the real-time collaboration between remote teams is better when we use Miro. In fact, I didn't try the tools and decided to use Miro. I began by using Miro, then I tried Mural. My decision was rapid. It is better to continue using Miro.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Planning Agile projects and integration with collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, etc). Coordinate the activity of a distributed remote team in an international environment. Real-time update of the diagrams and changes. But more difficult to integrate with Asana. Slow refresh and some bugs to fix are the main inconveniences of the tool. I hope that the next versions will resolve these elements.

Using Miro

  • Brainstorming
  • Remote collaboration.
  • Real Time integration with Jira.
  • A global strategic view.
  • Real-time diagrams.
  • The integration of AI.
  • Drawing a master plan of the IS.
I appreciate the collaboration features such as real-time editing, sticky notes, and templates. Also, the integration with my other tools and workflows is solid. That means switching away will cost time and effort. Although if the costs increase, I can review my position. Besides, I hope that the usability issues don't crop up in the future.
