Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro in my organization for many things, we usually do creativity workshops to work on brainstorming or team building. We think that Miro is a great tool to write down our ideas or information and then it helps us connect those ideas in different ways. It is specially helpful when we work with areas that are not so creative and that are not used to innovative process because it is a very intuitive and visual tool that helps them imagine or visualize what we are trying to communicate with them.
Pros
- Miro is super intuitive and easy to use! The left bar is self explanatory and intuitive.
- The templates and community boards are really helpful when working on a new project. You can use them as a base and them adapt them to your needs.
- The tools that Miro has create endless opportunities for diagramming. You can use sticky notes, emojis, arrows, charts or anything you can think of!
Cons
- I know that it is possible to create presentations, but I think it could be easier!
- Adding more typographies would be great!
- Adding more colors would be awesome.
- It has improved our productivity
- I has enhanced the creativity of the team
- It has reduced project completion times
It has worked amazingly for remote jobs. I am working remotely and I have worked on many projects and teams across the organization with Miro and it has been wonderful, especially since the area that I work in is innovation, Miro is a great tool to brainstorm and solve problems in a creative way. Its diagramming tools help us organize information and collaborate in ways that wouldn't be possible with other platforms.
Canvanizer and Strategizer is very good for specific templates for business model diagrams and explains every field with examples. Canva is great for presentations and collaborating in presentations for non designers through cloud. Miro is more open for adapting templates and diagramming from scratch, no limits. I wouldn't use Miro for presentations, so it doesn't substitute Canva, but it does stack up against Canvanizer and Strategizer.
