Miro - we use it everyday!
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In our part of the organization, we're focused on learning and development. Miro has been a vital tool to mind map ideas, blueprint projects, collaborate, and more. Whether it be a large project, a facilitator guide rewrite, or a new video, the tools in Miro make it easy to share ideas, vote, and map out a plan.
Pros
- Project Mapping
- Templates
- Interactivity through voting, spinning wheels, and more
- Visualizing ideas
- User friendly interface
Cons
- Nothing comes to mind.
- Reduced overall blueprinting time for large projects - can meet virtually and accomplish the same (or better results) than flying out and meeting at a office.
- Increased Feedback. Team members, customers, and stakeholders all seem more comfortable to give their thoughts and ideas via Miro.
- Motivational tool. We've used Miro for our End of Month celebrations to celebrate accomplishments the team has made every month. Pictures and comments are made around the board. To visually see what the team has accomplished each month is invigorating to everyone!
Yes. We used to fly key stakeholders to one of our corporate offices to blueprint redesigns of training curriculums and for brainstorming sessions. This isn't needed as frequently as it was before, thanks to Miro. In person, we would have attendees place ideas on post-its then organize from there. Miro does this in a virtual environment with ease. It saves on travel expenses and in most cases promotes more collaboration.
