Miro productivity tool review.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro boards for several purposes like: workflow design, process mapping and improvement, product and project management. I like Miro because it is a very flexible and easy tool. I'm using it for like two years and as much as I use, more I learn how to do better. I like to see video tutorials and help articles and apply them to my job. It has minor improvements like all software, but in general, is one of the most useful tools to have in my desk.
Pros
- Easy to start using, learning how to use and how to apply new tools
- Navigation smooth
- Widely integrated with other tools within the company
- Good to export and embbed in pages, e-mail etc.
Cons
- I'm not sure if it is possible, but zoom in/out using middle button and navigation with right button require a little bit of training.
- Copy/paste directly in wiki pages, e-mails
- Possibility to embbed boards in Confluence and Jira Pages
- Reduction in time to start new process
- Collaboration offline reduces time spent for global teams in meetings.
- Low or zero time spent in training sessions.Tool is very easy to onboard.
I'm part of a global company with offices in several locations in the US, EMEA, United Kingdon and Brazil. It helps me manage programs worldwide online and offiline with reliability, scalability and security. It helps us to have clear understanding on products, processes and more. We work more than 95% ot the time remotely, so a tool that runs in cloud is very helpful tool for a day-to-day online work.
