Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are leveraging Miro for many things. Largely for conception on aset creation but also in workshops, collection of information to make decisions and to store data.

Pros

  • Whiteboards
  • Workshops
  • Flowcharts
  • Voting
  • Collaboration

Cons

  • Keeping things tidy, a board can often spiral out of control, and a lot of times, a board is used to store information over some time. Perhaps limiting the space on a board could help with this. Often a board ends up containing many forms of information, almost to serve as a place for "documentation".
  • I have seen many ways for Miro to collect data from other platforms like Jira. But few solutions to show Miro data to other platforms. For instance, I would love to be able to fetch a frame with information (like a flow) into MS Loop where I store documentation. And every time that loop is opened, the frame loads the latest version of that content from Miro.
  • Miro is almost too feature-heavy right now. I don't know how well their Miro academy is up to date on all the news, but I am missing an easy way to read up on all features, kind of like what Apple has with their Ideas app.
  • It is extremely easy to get going and collaborate on something asynchronously which is. Miros. greatest strength.
I cannot imagine a world without Miro in our distributed team.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Today, there is no equivalent for graphical collaboration on topics.

Using Miro

  • Collaboration
  • Preproduction
  • Post mortems.
  • Preproduction and conception.
  • Flows for documentation.
  • Onboarding of staff.
  • Hopefully, more and better integrations.

Evaluating Miro and Competitors

  • Scalability
  • Ease of Use
I wouldn't change anything.

Miro Implementation

Change management was minimal
10000 - Artists, project managers, and other organizational support roles.

Miro Support

I never contacted them, but their great documentation and ease of use have never given me the need.
I have not been involved in purchasing premium support for our company.
I have never needed support from Miro actively, but I have enjoyed your documentation on numerous accounts.

Using Miro

Miro has many things that I need to use as intended by the developer. The base integration was good enough from the start for my team, and I haven't really needed many of the features that have been added since its early phase.
ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple
Easy to use
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Quick to learn
Convenient
Feel confident using
Familiar
None
  • The canvas and the base functionality thereof.
Yes - I think it's a bit clunky. Mainly due to screen size. It isn't easy to navigate a large board in a small phone. It has worked some times but I have rarely used it outside my computer.
