Overall Satisfaction with Miro

At [...], we use Miro for all kinds of activities: from integration meetings to complex strucutre flows and diagrams. The simplest feature I usually enjoy is the simples post its to create brain storms. After this step, we use some templates to improve the storm and concentrate the acts will fight against.

We use Miro in our interviews too. If we need to share the board with a member outside our company, just share the board temporally and give him/her the permission to write.

Miro is brillant! I really enjoy Miro!

Pros

  • Brain storms

Cons

  • If a board gets huge, Miro sometimes get in trouble
  • Sometimes, I don't know why, Syncronization fails and we loose some info (it happened in the past. Not actually)
  • The possibility of join ideas from different teams in same board
  • Priorization of tasks (simple organizing boards)
  • Idea's repositories
I think that Miro could offer possibility of personalization the plugins section. Let the most used plugins first is a good idea (I'm not sure that is possible now)
The integration of google docs sometimes gets lazy. Even if the document has few pages, it gets loading and loading for a long time.

And the source code widget could improve the max number of lines.
Miro is fundamental for our company, which has employees in Portugal, US, and several locations in Brazil.
Miro is easier that Google Charts, and it is lighter too. Best chargs in Miro

Miro is the best fit when we want to develop and concentrate ideas for a new project.
A specific scenario is the initial steps of a project.
Normally we split the ideas in columns, using cathegories like: Problem to solve, Priorities, Worries, Technology envolved into, and some another characteristcs.

Either when the ideas are not clear, we use Miro to help us to clarify them and get walking.
