Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We are working on an e-commerce platform. I'm a software developer and usually need a blackboard to draw my ideas. Miro's a collaborative place where some of us can work together sharing thoughts and ideas. I typically draw sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and so on. So I use Miro to do that. We use it for our retrospectives too. In general, is a nice tool to work with.
Pros
- very useful to create software diagrams
- very useful to do retrospectives with all team members
- ver useful for presentations
- very useful to share any idea with others
- very useful to collaborate with all team members
Cons
- I'm using the eraser app, and with this tool you can write down notes in a document, meanwhile you can draw diagrams in a blackboard. At the end of the process you have the notes and the diagrams in the same place. Maybe this idea is a place for room for Miro
- improve productivity mainly
- reduce the use cases uncertainty drawing the diagrams
- improve the knowledge in the team sharing ideas
- improve the dynamics of the team like retro's and other meetings
It's the glue for all of us. When we have to do a meeting, we use Miro to share our ideas there. whiteboards are always saved, so we can review them whenever we want. Thanks to this collaborative tool we don't have to do the real offices to work, because Miro allows us handle all the situations: meeting, retros, brainstorming... all!
Gather Town is a multiverse cool tool. The app has a blackboard and a document section, which is the eraser tool. This approach is cool, but I feel Eraser misses a lot of functionalities that Miro has, such as the flexibility to collaborate with all team members, the availability to work with the of previous and current whiteboards, the availability to share the whiteboards with all team members and the integration with a lot of tools.
