Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for a variety of tasks including: dashboard wireframing, customer journey mapping, diagramming to support content in decks and presentations, and ideation parking lots and prioritization. I am the sole user on my team who uses Miro (after becoming familiar with it at past organizations), so I do less collaborating with other users and find more use in including the tool in my personal tech-stack.

Pros

  • Intuitive user interface
  • Variety of pre-made templates help quickly kick-start new boards
  • Ease of navigation throughout the page

Cons

  • More options/flexibility with chart (graph) elements
  • Table (grid) element is a bit counter-intuitive to navigate/has a larger learning curve than other elements
  • Reduced wireframing time by ~30%
  • Increased rounds of ideation possible
While I am the only team member who currently uses Miro, I have seen other members become curious or interested as I have shown them my whiteboards. There is an appetite to use Miro for collaboration.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is great for quickly getting things on "paper" in a way that is clear and neat which allows me to show stakeholders ideas and concepts visually, helping me to communicate my ideas more clearly and easily. Because I use Miro for my personal use and my team has other tools each person prefers to use, I find I don't use it for collaboration as much as is possible with the app.
