Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro in all aspects of my work as a product manager. I mainly use them to outline and visualize complex workflows. Another big use case is for workshops for products/roadmaps/any complex issues that would benefit via collaboration beyond using words. The team really enjoys the collaborative nature of the product and being able to follow along easily during our online walkthroughs.

Pros

  • visualized workflows (different components to reflect different needs/tastes)
  • easy collaboration (seeing others do things real time, 'follow me', comments)
  • facilitation tools are a nice touch and keeps things on track

Cons

  • prototyping
  • design library
  • showcasing what font/styling is used exactly
  • Increase in team collaboration
  • Decrease in efficiency for designers, as they need to jump between apps for mockups and prototypes
  • Improved deeper thinking thanks to being able to run workshops easily
Its been great to collaborate with folks across physical locations, it doesn't discriminate between coworkers in the same room versus others from abroad when we are all collaborating in a board. Building a Miro board for brainstorming and deep thinking has become a part of my standard practice for new projects
Miro is as good as Figma on everything aside from mockups and prototyping. Miro was chosen as the company tool

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Long story short, everything minus prototyping is fine with Miro.
