Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to conduct virtual workshops for clients in disparate locations. I also use it to collaborate with teams in other states and countries.

Pros

  • Enables real-time collaboration
  • Encourages participation by all participants
  • Supplies good accelerator templates

Cons

  • More shapes
  • Copy Miro content across different teams
  • More standardized sizing - sometimes boards require extremely large fonts
  • Miro enabled us to take advantage of multiple time zones and essentially double our working hours
  • Miro has reduced travel expenses for workshops
  • Miro has reduced the number of collaboration tools for projects, saving us many hours of focus switching
I work on a global team and collaborate across many geographies. Miro is essential for brainstorming and ideation when teams can't be physically together.
Miro is easier to use and has superior functionality and templates

Miro is well-suited to virtual collaboration for teams that are not in the same location. Miro is less appropriate for in-person or mixed sessions where some/all participants are in the same room.
