Miro is the only app we always keep open
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro on most tasks - we work as a team across everything we do, and the collaborative format of Miro makes it feel as if we're all together working in a physical space. Miro enables us to prepare creative thrashes, mindmap freely, embed links and videos, group and bucket our ideas together, and offer a whiteboard presentation ready to use with our clients. We even used Miro recently to create an animated Christmas card, where multiple users used post-it notes to build a festive tree - we also have used it as birthday cards where people create their own emoji monsters out of the icon tools.
Pros
- Collaboration
- Interactivity
- Loading time
- Accessibility
- Simplicity
Cons
- Embedded animations/GIFs
- More default typography options
- More custom options for music/emoji reactions
- Improved collaboration
- Speeding up our brainstorms
- Shorten times for duplicating content, screenshots from Miro are sendable to our clients
Miro is essential for us when we work remotely, it replicates the feeling of being together seamlessly, and we find sometimes it has a place even when working together; Miro is engrained in our work processes and is essential for us irrespective of where our team is based (i.e remotely or in the same room). It gives us a blank canvas where we can pool all of our thoughts and ideas and retains legacy for future work.
