Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is used for technical documentation drawing. Most used by architecture team. We are testing to extend the use-cases to include design workshops where we use its as a whiteboard for canvas. Another use-case is also presentations building, but we are yet far as we do not understand miro capabilities to this extend.
Pros
- Ability to zoom in/out into a considerable depth
- Ability to provide public access to be used by customer or 3rd party looking to consume read-only mode.
- Ability to handle teams spaces and participate on external spaces
Cons
- Ability to embed live document types e.g. MS Word or Excel for active collaboration
- Ability to provide externally embeddable link e.g. embedded a live/editable Miro frame into a MS Word document or Powerpoint or Sharepoint wiki page
- Ability to allow for company members which do not need to be fully licensed. e.g. read-mode only of guest.
- Improved productivity of specific departments
Positively. we do have an significantly high culture of remote work and cross-locations, so Miro was easily accepted.
