Great tool for remote teams.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use it to present my research to the team and to make low-fidelity prototypes for websites and landing pages. This tool allows us to collaborate on texts, user flows, and other marketing and design materials. Sometimes I use it in web meetings when we need to work simultaneously, such as during brainstorming or JTBD sessions.
Pros
- Collaboration
- Presenting any research or wireframes.
- Low fidelity design.
Cons
- "Save as PDF" is usually turns out ugly.
- Navigation is confusing sometimes.
- It is hard to work with it on smartphone.
- It enhance the team productivity and reduce project time.
- It helps to improve motivation because everybody see the impact on the project.
- It helps to track the history of the project and reduces time for onboardings.
Since my company is fully remote-based, Miro is one of our everyday tools, especially during meetings and when we have complex tasks that require multiple specialists to collaborate on websites, ensuring that design, copy, and CRM work well together. Having all the work inside one tool significantly enhances productivity and reduces time for a project.
- Google Drive and Figma
We use all those instruments, but Google Drive works better when you need to work with spreadsheets or text, without design. Figma is also great, but it is a little more challenging to use, so it's easier to keep the content in Miro for non-designers. We selected it for its simplicity and ability to cover our needs.
