Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it for many collaborative activities such as brainstorming, road mapping, developing processes, planning, prototyping, etc. It is great at allowing multiple team members to view and contribute to group work easily and in real time. For myself I find it incredibly useful for mapping out features and prototyping as well as a repository for personal brainstorming.

Pros

  • Collaboration
  • Brainstorming
  • Protoyping
  • Process Mapping

Cons

  • Easier way to build and edit tables
  • More flexible project/board management options
  • More shapes
  • Improved prototype turnaround time drastically (cuts out going to design/UX for everything)
  • Improves productivity for remote employees reducing travel cost for planning sessions
  • Return on investment was rapid
It was extremely easy for us to get it set up and eventually move everyone over to our SSO method. Then to distribute our licenses out to over 200+ users was also a breeze. Probably one of the smoothest enterprise roll outs we have ever had here at our company.
We integrated Miro with Azure Dev Ops and while getting some of the stuff to flow over there were still some things that took longer than expected to set up. It also had some limitations on what/how changes in Azure Dev Ops got reflected in Miro - but we made do.
This has been a huge boost for us. We were able to do company wide planning sessions that spanned work spaces all around the globe all at once without having to fly over a hundred people in to our office. Even on smaller projects having a repository that can be fluid and updated by any team member when they need to is a major plus.
Miro was chose for its breadth of features, ease of use, integration simplicity for our SSO, and price. Overall the evaluation was fairly easy for us and we have been very happy so far and don't see us changing considering how they keep improving the product constantly while the others evaluated don't seem to be moving as fast.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I find it an excellent tool to map out my product and feature flows then build out individual UI elements to convey what the user will be experiencing in each stip. It is the best tool out there I have used for flow mapping because of how easy it is to just create new elements, move them around, and connect them.
