Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Used for brainstorming, ideation sessions, collaborative workshops, research analysis, etc. Used both for personal work and for group work. Also sometimes used as an alternative to Powerpoint for presenting. It increases collaboration and communication within the team as existing methods like word, powerpoint, etc. are not suitable.

Pros

  • Collaborative workshops with multiple stakeholders
  • Presentations
  • Research synthesis and analysis

Cons

  • Sometimes the online version pauses for updates
  • Some specific features like tables could be better
  • Enhanced formatting options
  • Enhanced communication
  • More collaborative workshops, ideation sessions, etc.
  • Reduce time spent on user research analysis
Surprisingly easy to use, even for new users. Very intuitive and most features and functions are self-explanatory. Can be used in a number of different ways based on the persons preferences.
Ability to add sticky notes, move them around, connect them. Templates are very useful as well sometimes as it reduces the amount of work required to set it up. Text formatting options are also quite good so helps when creating a presentation. Ability to create assets in an unlimited space helps with design and research work.
Its definitely reduced the usage of things like Word, Powerpoint, and Confluence. We still use them depending on the use case and the need.
It was selected by leadership prior to me joining the company. I am now however a big supporter of Miro and use it very frequently.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited for teams of varying sizes that want to brainstorm, ideate, collaborate to create roadmaps, share ideas, etc. Teams that require constant communication and collaboration could benefit immensely from Miro. Works particularly well for Product development. Maybe less well suited if only used for personal use.
