Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorming, storyboarding, project tracking, and other product development tasks. It solves business problems such as, collecting information from multiple sources to then keep projects and innitiatives organized, continued visitation of a board to track changes during a project timeline, personal collection of information in a creative way.

Pros

  • Keeps our teams visually organized on complex topics and projects
  • AI tools such as, creating a document, overviewing a large group of stickies, remove background from image, and any other AI tools
  • Their other tools and plugins make facilitation and brainstorming very easy and fun
  • Agile ceremonies

Cons

  • Optimization of spaces, its great we can now create sections within a Space, but there might be more page organization aspects that would be helpful
  • Quicker time to solutions
  • Increased collaboration between teams and siloes
  • AI tools addressing consistencies and inconsistencies faster
Miro is highly useable for our teams. Its functionality is clear and understandable. New functionality excites our team (we always share with the team what has been added that will be an added benefit to us) and we continue to be excited about changes and what's to come. Usability would be improved by an added layer of organization to the board/teams/pages/etc.
We love using templates and templates from the Miroverse, we use the comment feature to our advantage, Docs has made a huge improved impact on our team, the improved tables/timeline functions are amazing, timers keep our team meetings and agile ceremonies on time to get through all our topic matter accurately, Jira connections is great
It hasn't changed too much for us in terms of our other platforms, but being able to link to appropriate documents (from google docs, google sheets, etc.) improves our navigation around platforms. We still use Figma for prototyping but keeping organized is much easier that just working through many documents in multiple places
We are switching to Microsoft from Google. It is proposed to us that we use Microsoft Whiteboard in place of Miro. We're nervous to lose access to our many boards we have created and up kept for years. Microsoft Whiteboard has extremely decreased levels of functionality than Miro and we're sad to start using it

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

My company finds Miro suited for brainstorming, ideation, agile ceremonies, general organization, project planning, collecting information to view in the future, and complicated workshopping using Miro's tools, it's great for screen sharing and working through a problem with a team.My company finds Miro less suited for advanced prototyping (we use Figma for that)
