Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a software Development manager and former Agile Coach and SM, Miro has been a key tool to facilitating all the sessions with distributed teams, Miro also has embraced AI in a comprehensive way to help summarizing and translating the boards, which helps a lot and save time. The integration with Azure Devops is one of my favorites it allows to have a synced plan in both tools. A lot of my work is going on in Miro and I love it.

Pros

  • Integration with ADO
  • Creating boards for planning
  • AI tools

Cons

  • Sometimes there are some lags with ADO integration it could be enhanced
  • Doing a board based on some geometrical forms isn't the best way I know you have a tool for table but doesn't look so nice to use in a planning session.
  • Definitely we need integration with spotify or YT music, having the same 5 songs always has became boring.
  • Reduce times in 50% for preparing scrum events
  • Reduce times switching between tools with the integrations
  • AI has reduce the time with tools as translations and summaries
Sometimes the selected tool deselect and you need to click it again, which is not desirable. Also the menu for the items such as textboxes sometimes appear in front of other element, or even appears in a weird place and it is hard to find. In occasions the cut and paste feature just doesn't work it needs a refresh of the webpage to work again.
- AI tools, translation and summarizing is great.
- Integration with other tools such as Azure Devops.
- Multiple tools to facilitate scrum events, timers, planning pokers, roulette etc.
Yes, mainly I use integration with Azure Devops and that has reduced sometimes switching between both apps, i.e I can create an ADO ticket directly from Miro and that works good when you are in a session, not switching screens is great to continue having the attention of the audience
Mostly the user ionterface, it's eas to use, and all the integrations it has inside.

Yes

Appropiate:
- scrum events: It has a full tools to perform your plannings, refinements, retrospectives and daily standups
- Planning board: The integration with Azure devops guarantee a full sync between both tools and you can plan in a graphic way all your work.

Less Appropiate: I still prefer powerpoint presentations for a formal presentation, it gives a more serious business aura.
