Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to create clear visual plans for budgeting, forecasting, and team workflows. It helps everyone from finance to other departments to understand complex ideas more easily. I mainly use it during planning meetings for exploring different financial scenarios and improving how we work together. It makes collaboration smoother and helps us plan faster and more accurately. Overall, most of our financial planning depends on it, as we get to explain all the details to our team visually.
Pros
- It helps turn confusing numbers and plans into clear, visual diagrams.
- Our team can jump in at the same time, and there is no need to wait for back-and-forth emails.
- It is easy to connect with Excel, slides, and task trackers.
- It also helps non-finance people understand and join financial planning discussions.
Cons
- It is challenging to do real number crunching or use formulas directly in Miro.
- There is no easy way to see who changed what or to go back to earlier versions.
- We need internet to access boards, which is not always convenient.
- Everyone understands the numbers better.
- Fewer additional meetings.
- We use fewer apps.
- More people can join in.
I use Miro’s ready-made templates to start plans quickly, and the live collaboration lets our team update things together without delays. Sticky notes help us organize ideas clearly, and comments make it easy to get feedback. It also connects well with Excel and slides, making sharing info simple. These features help us plan faster and keep everyone in the loop.
Yes, we no longer need as many tools for our work because Miro can now do that. Some tools, such as whiteboard and meeting tools, have also been eliminated. Because Miro provides so many features in one location, we were able to eliminate these tools and avoid having to switch between apps for every task.
Conceptboard was a useful tool, but I used it in my last organization. I was very satisfied with it for a very long time. Once I switched jobs, my current company was using Miro. So I started using it, and I must say that I am happy with its performance until now, but I do not know the future.
