Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for a better organization and collaboration of our team during retrospectives, product roadmaps, design sprint... The tools and templates that Miro provide are very intuitive and user friendly. It's really helpful when we need the collaboration of several employes to work on the same file. When we have the need to share the boards with stakeholders, we can easily do it and they don't have to create an account just to visualize our projects.
Pros
- The templates are very useful and we can customize it.
- We can share the boards with visitors and they don't have to create an account
- The tools are user friendly and intuitive
Cons
- I've noticed that when I'm working on boards with many elements, it doesn't perform well. It gets really slow.
- I've had problems while exporting PDF files of the boards. It didn't exported with the correct size.
- Miro is user friendly, but in terms of advanced diagrams it tends to be a bit difficult.
- Miro enhanced our company's productivity by 30% when we are creating roadmaps
- The templates available improved the efficiency of our product menagement
- The tools available for diagramming were helpful and we didn't have to buy another software for our team.
The templates for design sprint, retrospective and product roadmap caused a great impact. We can adapt and replicate for our distributed teams, and everyone can contribute in real time, even as visitors. It's easy to learn, which is great when we have new collaborators. Plus, the flexibility of the infinit canvas enhanced our creativity.
Miro has transformed how our team collaborates. We’ve phased out separate apps for visual mapping, team reflections, sprint planning, and strategic timelines. Having everything flow in one shared workspace keeps ideas connected and progress visible. It’s simplified our process, strengthened teamwork, and made creative problem-solving feel far more natural and integrated across projects.
Compared to Jira, draw.io, and Whimsical, Miro stands out for its fluidity and adaptability. Jira is great for structured project tracking, but Miro offers a more visual, flexible environment for ideation and alignment. draw.io feels static in comparison, and Whimsical, though elegant, lacks Miro’s depth for team collaboration. Miro bridges structure and creativity seamlessly, making it our natural choice.
