Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I have been using Miro to help implement a new subscription plan my company is going to start offering. I started by creating a workflow for running this program manually in the short term and then how to automate it. Once that was outline, I created a timeline for implementation. I also have added multiple note sections to flesh out ideas with more info so the single Miro board has become the hub for all info relating to this rollout.

Pros

  • provides extensive options for templates to use as jumping off points or to gleam ideas
  • serving multiple purposes
  • easier to learn than other whiteboarding programs

Cons

  • Your ai is terrible. I gave it step by step instructions from chatgpt and how to create my board and it didn't even come close after multiple rounds of refinement
  • expand formatting options when working within documents in a Miro board
  • in my specific board, i couldn't start my label with a capital letter unless I first but in a lowercase, deleted and then enter a capital letter, so that was very annoying
  • Reduced my time explaining processes
  • Keeps us all on the same page with a single source of truth
  • Improved team collaboration
It is easier than most to navigate, however its not always the most intuitive when trying to do something new. Maybe your ai helps with this, but when I'm using turbo tax and it anticipates my needs and questions and brings me the answer right where and when I need it - that would be helpful and save me time googling.
I'm not sure I know any of the names of the tools specifically. I've generally used it for hosting collaborative meetings and for creating process workflows and/or timelines.
Yes, instead of using one note or word/google docs, I utilized the docs feature to house all of the notes, parking lot questions, etc within my board. In the past that info has either be completely separated or just a link to doc within Miro which has been much more convenient.

Very helpful for any visuals, process breakdowns and timelines.
Not the easiest to use for a presentation unless you're exporting.
Also great for collaborating during remote meetings
