Overall Satisfaction with Mitel MiCollab

Mitel MiCollab 8 is a great fit for customers who already have an existing Mitel UC environment and can have a cost effective approach for collaboration for team members compared to all the added cost(s) that come with Microsoft Teams and all of their hidden costs depending on features that are needed.

  • Not as powerful at Microsoft Teams
  • Would be nice it it was Agnostic
  • Screen sharing could be better
  • Great Collaboration Suite for existing Mitel Customers
  • Integrates great with existing Mitel devices
  • If greenfield customer, MS Teams much easier to implement for O365 users
  • Doesn't integrated to Microsoft Apps that well
  • GUI not as clean as MS Teams
It is easy to you for existig Mitel UC users, who are familiar with the Mitel way of things, but for green field enterprises, might be a ramp up period which in most cases would not be worth it as its competitor TEAMS is much easier and intuity to use.
Mitel MiCollab compares satisfactory to these other Collaboration solutions but as stated before for SMB customer's who have budget concerts and already have a Mitel environment for their unified communication infrastructure, this definatley will work and meet their collab needs. I hope to see more features and functionality added to the newer versions of Mitel MiCollab.

To me, Mitel MiCollab is best suited for Small Medium Business that already have an existing Mitel environment and can leverage their existing UC system to add a full blow collaboration solution at a cost effective price. Best for customer's that do not want to use up most of their yearly budget on Microsoft Teams.
