The whole organization uses monday.com. We use it for project management, editorial calendar planning, administrative tasks, and just about every aspect of our business!
- It's so easy to learn. I think I only watched a couple of tutorials when I got started but even so, I figured most of it out on my own.
- It's well-organized - plenty of white space and nothing unnecessary cluttering your view.
- It's fun to use. I enjoy it, my team enjoys it, and even my clients like working and conversing within it.
- I would love to see more options for columns (multiple-item select would be a really useful feature).
- Linking data across different boards is a little clunky.
- I'd love to have a general message area for each board for higher-level conversations related to that board (rather than just messaging related to individual items).
I moved away from Airtable and into mondaycom because I needed something more like a collaboration tool and less like a database/spreadsheet. I do miss some of the column and sorting options in Airtable (it was very flexible and customizable), but the messaging/commenting functions in monday.com are far better for my team, as well as the dashboarding, which Airtable doesn't have.
