It is being used across the whole organization. It helps keep projects and their status visible to all team members. It helps to communicate with team members from one location even if they are in different groups. We often have many projects for new product creation and monday.com organizes the flow of the project and allows all team members to visibly see the status of the project so we can be on the same page. The "seen" history really helps to know that your fellow team members have seen the post or not even if they have not replied to the update.

Pros

  • If you have many projects simultaneously, the template allows for an organized structure.
  • It is very user friendly and has an intuitive user interface.
  • Many notifications including mobile, desktop, and even integrates with Slack chat, which is very helpful.
  • Projects and statuses can be color coordinated.

Cons

  • Would like to see drag and drop workflow builder.
  • Would like to see quick voice/video record feature for pulse.
A new employee can easily understand and start using the boards immediately without much learning curve.
Did not have to use much support.
Very reliable and never really had issues with downtime or server errors.

Easy to use and everything is visibly organized. When you have many projects, for example, in the product creation department, we can create many pulses and have them assigned to specific team members, see the status, and communicate with the whole team or specific person. When you are managing a different department, monday.com helps organize everything so you can keep track without looking hard. It also notifies you when updates are made and records who has seen them from which device so that we can be on the same page.
