Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com to assign jobs to our estimators. We also use the jobs to invoice our clients and calculate commission paid to employees. We are able to provide our business owners with the revenue generated at the end of each billing cycle. We also use monday.com to track expenses and inventory. monday.com is our main tool for the majority of our business needs.

Pros

  • Works like Excel, formulas take away a lot of manual entries.
  • We can have privacy between boards and users.
  • monday.com is easy to use.

Cons

  • There are occasions where monday.com creates duplicates.
  • It would be helpful if monday.com could limit formulas to a single group rather than all groups within the column in each board.
  • When jobs are moved from one board to another, the email items should move with it .
  • This is definitely a time saver
  • User friendly, very little training needed
All users are able to manage monday.com. The only downside is that the "activity log" history disappears when items move from board to board. Perhaps this is a set up issue and can be changed.
monday.com support has been helpful but didn't always know the answer to our inquiry. There was a resolution but we figured it out on our own. For the most part, support has been very knowledgeable.
monday.com has glitches. This is a rarity. The issues always resolve themselves quickly. There is little to no downtime as a result of this program.

monday.com is user friendly. The workflow is easy to follow. The search option allows you to search across all boards making it easy to find any job. Unfortunately, monday.com cannot provide an alert when a duplicate job is being added to the board if the initial job is already moved from the main board to the employee's job board. This can result in duplication of work and paying two employees to do the same job.
