Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We are a solar company and we have 30+ employees. We use monday.com everyday and it is an amazing CRM. Solar is a complex business with lots of moving parts. There are many phases to solar so we need to address every step and we can manage the entire project from start to finish with monday.com. We can track everyone and all employees are trained to deal with the progress of every customer on monday.com. We have a running "joke" at the company, "if it isn't on Monday, it doesn't exist." A good marketing slogan for your business!

Pros

  • Helps keep track of customers and projects
  • It's easy to use
  • We are an international company so we feel like we are a "family" on monday.com

Cons

  • I don't really have anything to offer. I don't have a complaint....
  • monday.com has made a huge difference where things don't fall through the cracks. Once one division is completed, the next division head is tagged and it goes to the next phase. We can track the project easily.
  • We are an international company and communicating with people all over the globe via monday.com is a great CRM.
I'm probably one of the oldest employees at the company and if I can work on monday.com, anyone can! We also are multi-lingual and even though some of our employees use English as a second language, they have no problem using monday.com. Everyone speaks highly of our CRM and I have not had one single complaint from anyone. We can also add blocks/cells whenever we need to. For instance, we need to give customers updates and so we added, 1st Month Update, 2nd Month Update, etc. As the company changes and new protocols are initiated, we add it to monday.com. What I like best about monday.com is it is all inclusive. We can put everything we need to do for our business well on monday.com. We don't need 2 or 3 tracking systems. monday.com does it all.
I personally have not had to call customer service for help but in the beginning, when we were just beginning monday.com, our owners dealt with monday.com customer service and they helped us get to where we are today.
Solar Installation has lots of moving parts. We have a section for just sales reps on monday.com. They can communicate between each other. After a project is sold, we Onboard the customer, have a welcome call and packet to send, there is a site survey that must be scheduled, engineering, permitting, inspections, ordering supplies, installation, closing packet, etc. We can track it all on Monday. It is a very versatile tool. As we get better, or things change in the company, monday.com changes with us.

I think monday.com is an amazing tool. We have many departments and we have defined them on monday so any employee can jump from one division to another... From an update for and HOA to a new roof, or electrical problem to Permitting. We have an active list of customers and a list for completed projects. We have a section just for Project Managers, one for each department so we can communicate and tag those who need to address a specific issue. I can't speak more highly about it. We started off with another CRM but it doesn't compare to monday.com.
