Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite
NetSuite was originally purchased as a growth step from Quickbooks Enterprise. I was recruited by the company when implementation had stalled 9 months from the purchase date because of my previous experience self-implementing. Now live for one year, NetSuite is being used as the ERP and CRM for the entire company. Additional investment has been made into WMS Lite and Demand planning to optimize warehouse operations and purchasing efficiency.
- Reduces internal IT requirements, like all well designed SaaS offerings
- Seamlessly integrates the ERP with operations management and optimization offerings
- Efficiently facilitates distributed operations and remote employees
- All of the pros come with an annual price tag that can be quite hefty
- Enhancement/upgrade implementations and integrations are generally outsourced with daunting price tags as well
- Unexpected downtime and internet connectivity issues (such as recent backbone outages and DDoS attacks on domain name servers) can be extremely disruptive to operations
- We're too early in this implementation to have reliably calculated ROI but efficiencies are very visibly improved and error rates are greatly reduced
- Not a member of any user groups
