ERP/CRM System with Robust Customized Reporting
Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite
NetSuite is used to intake, organize, and route lead information for potential clients. It is used specifically for a couple clients, rather than across the entire organization (at the agency). From my perspective, it is useful because it is highly customizable: custom reports can be created and exported (in a number of formats) for analysis and evaluation. Netsuite's flexibility in offering full-business solutions makes integrating with third party software less necessary. The flexibility of the platform allows for integrations to be built using JavaScript (though we haven't taken advantage of that functionality yet).
Pros
- Custom reports are easily created and customized for export (in a number of formats, including CSV and Excel)
- Integrations with other platforms - to pass outside information/data into Netsuite and connect with third party software
Cons
- Functionality extends far outside ERP limitations: includes CRM functionality, inventory tracking, call tracking, etc.
- Documentation of third party integrations to streamline integration process(es) with other platforms
- Extensive reporting capabilities - built in reports and customized reports - allow for analysis using third-party software / techniques
- Lacking in in-platform forecasting / modeling / prediction and dashboard capabilities, which means relying on third party software
- Eliminated the need for other software suites (combines CRM and ERP functionality into one platform), which overall made it a less expensive choice
- Not a member of any user groups
I haven't used any platforms exactly like NetSuite, primarily because Netsuite serves as an all-in-one integrated business solution, from lead management to accounting. From a CRM perspective, Salesforce is relatively similar. As an ERP, I've previously used Sage 500 and found them similar in capabilities / robustness, though Netsuite's integrations and customization is more straightforward and less dated.
